Friendly service, very good food and good wines! The star deduction was caused by the cold, uncomfortable, 0/8/15 ambience. Seldom experienced such a soulless interior in a historic building! A pity.....

Great new hotel. Tasteful furnishings. The restaurant has a large outdoor area and a very diverse and varied menu. The staff is very friendly and warm. I don't know what can be done better :)

Were there to eat. Very good, upscale, traditional cuisine, with regional products. Prices a bit high for some people, for us absolutely justified! The wines from their own winery are very good and there is something for every wine connoisseur. Recommended !!! We would love to come back!

We spent one night here to start a hike over the Hildegard von Bingen pilgrimage route the next day. From the reception to the rooms, the sensationally good dinner and the rich breakfast - everything was perfect and the Schauß family and their team are simply very welcoming and are great hosts. In any case, we'll be back and look forward to it.

Great location, good service.

From yesterday to today my wife and I ate in the restaurant after a wine tasting and stayed at the hotel. Everything was perfect. As long-standing customers of the Weigut Schauß, we followed the expansion of the city mill so that we could finally spend the night there after a wine tasting and no longer had to drive by car. The craftsmen involved in the expansion have honored their respective guilds. Everything went perfectly down to the smallest detail. When we were able to dine on the terrace, nicely served, accompanied by sparkling wine and wine from the Schauß winery, we were completely satisfied. As we could see, the numerous other guests were too. Today we drove home with a trunk full of wine and champagne. Chic renovated inn with restaurant and guest rooms. Very good food with excellent wine. Staff friendly. Everything clean and tidy.

I stayed and ate there. The rooms are very nice and functional. In the restaurant I ate a steak perfectly prepared! The service and the staff were very friendly and competent. Price performance for food and living top.

Great wine bar

Very beautiful Art Nouveau mill (1920), which is currently being lovingly revived by Mr. Schauß. The main building has already become a gem. The bare walls lack the comfort. There are guest rooms that are praised. The kitchen is up-to-date bourgeois. Since the owner has a very good winery, the wine is also available in the restaurant with a friendly recommendation. The coffee also comes from a good local roaster.
